The T-90 is our answer to the traditional P90 pickup that combines a classic design with a touch of TV Jones sparkle and clarity. The result is a full & fat sound with clear, transparent overtones. Now available in our ultra popular T-Series Cover!
The bridge pickup has thicker highs and more defined lows than what is commonly heard from traditional P-90s. We use Filter'Tron pole screws and wider pole-to-pole spacing on the bridge pickup. This provides more inductance for a thicker tone and plenty of dynamics. The neck pickup has good clarity and warmth - considerably less boomy than traditional P-90s.
The No Ears Mount is a direct drop-in replacement for any guitar with standard size Filter'Tron style pickups that mount directly into wood. This pickup ships with mounting screws and compression foam for adjustment.
DC Resistance is not entirely an indicator of true pickup output, although it can be helpful.
Bridge: DCR - 7.6K / Inductance - 5.5H
Neck: DCR - 6.1k / Inductance - 4.2H
This pickup is shipped with standard 2-conductor wire. We recommend 500k pots with our T90 pickups.
Filter'Tron Replacement: The No Ears Mount is a direct drop-in replacement for any guitar with standard size Filter'Tron-style pickups that mount into the guitar body with wood-screws. This includes vintage and modern pro-level Gretsch guitars, Cabronitas, and more!
Electromatic & Streamliner Guitars: If you have a Gretsch Electromatic or Streamliner Series guitar then you will need the English Mount - not this No Ears mount.
