Guitar
The MeloDuende Isatis Royal Blue Fury is custom made to be played hard. Don’t worry that it is built from aluminum; this particular aluminum is light and fast and commonly used to build aircraft and race cars. The Isatis is semi-hollow and offers superb ergonomics, extended frequency range, and 1mm ultra high precision welding. MeloDuende Guitars are painted with aircraft grade paint. The royal blue and gold color combination perfectly compliments the warm and organic sound produced by the guitar. Check it out!

The name ‘MeloDuende’ is a blend of ‘Melo’ the French term for melody, and ‘Duende’, a gypsy term used to describe a ‘jam’ — when people communicate with music, not words. This sounds poetic, but don’t be fooled. Bertrand Dafour is willing to build an aluminum custom nightmare if that’s what the client wants. Bertrand Dufour is a true artisan who describes himself as the madman behind each work of art. His MeloDuende guitar shop is located in the heart of Burgundy, France. Growing up in machine shops and later studying cabinetry, guitar building feels natural to Dufour. He enjoys using his highly specialized welding skills to build semi-hollow guitars with bespoke bracing. Each guitar is tailored to order; all components are selected prior to the build. MeloDuende Guitars blends client imagination with builder expertise to create a personal sound, look and feel. The best compliment he’s ever received: ‘this doesn’t sound like a metal guitar’.
