As a young teen in Belgium, Hilko Nackaerts studied classical guitar and was a beginning woodworker. Naturally, this led to his future in guitar building. Hilko studied luthiery at the International Luthiery School in Antwerp. As a custom builder, it is important that only quality and environmentally friendly materials are chosen for his guitars. In addition to building guitars, Hilko works as a worldwide guitar technician. This allows him to stay current with the evolving music industry, maintain professional relationships, and visualize new guitar designs. Speaking in reference to his guitars, Hilko says “no two loveguns are alike”.
